Our Community

Welcome to our little preschool!  We believe that healthy development requires community, love, and respect for the individual.  Our community is made up of parents, our church, our preschool board, teachers, and myself as the director.  Each of us play a part, to support our children by cheering them on and helping them grow and learn

This is my eighth year as a part of this community, fourth year as director.  I've been a parent, church member, board member, teacher, and director.  As a parent, I know what it's like to leave your first born on the first day of school, to cope with challenges, to celebrate successes, and to watch your last baby graduate from the fours. I am so excited to share these memories with your family!

I so hope that GUMS becomes a second home for your child and the relationships built with families and staff continue throughout your child’s education.

Our Program

Our program is designed to be developmentally and age appropriate.  Students who enroll for three years will progress purposefully with nurturing teachers in a safe and familiar place.  Likewise, students who enroll for one or two years will benefit from the same thoughtful whole-child program. Our program takes a holistic learning approach in a loving Christian environment.
